About Artist
I am Rini Dutta, born in sacred city of Varanasi. Journalist by day and Mithila artist by soul, now based in Delhi. Varanasi’s ancient rhythms and vibrant traditions ignited my passion for folk art. With every brushstroke, I weave tales of gods, rituals, and everyday life. Mithila art’s kaleidoscope of colors and motifs transports me to Bihar’s rich cultural heritage. As I create, I am reconnected to the roots and the stories they tell. Art isn’t just a medium, it’s my joy, my rhythm, my hope. In the intricate motifs and bold hues, I find solace and a sense of belonging.
