Where a Love for Art Becomes a Purpose
Art has a language of its own. It speaks without words, carries emotions across generations and preserves stories long after moments have passed.
A mere dewdrop can hold the reflection of an entire world. In the same way, every work of art carries within it a world of imagination, emotion, struggle and dreams. Akatva Arts Foundation was born from this very belief — that art is not simply created to be seen, but to be felt, experienced and carried forward.
Established in 2018 in Delhi NCR, we are a non-profit organization committed to promoting Indian art, artists, artisans and cultural heritage. Our journey is driven by a shared vision: to create meaningful platforms where creativity receives recognition, artists receive opportunities, and India's rich artistic legacy finds a place in the future.
Every work of art carries a world within it.
We believe that behind every artwork is an artist, behind every artist is a story, and behind every story is a dream waiting for someone to believe in it.
Akatva exists to become that bridge — between artists and audiences, between heritage and contemporary expression, and between creativity and opportunity.
A Shared Love.
A Shared Vision.
At the heart of Akatva is the journey of Mr. Rishabh Agrawal and Ms. Saloni Wadhwa, two individuals brought together by a deep and enduring love for art.
Rishabh
Agrawal
His admiration for paintings and artists gradually developed into a strong desire to support those who dedicate their lives to creativity.
He believes that artists deserve more than appreciation — they deserve opportunities, visibility, encouragement and a platform from which they can grow.
His passion lies in supporting artists, particularly emerging and independent creative voices, and helping their work reach people who value and understand it. For Rishabh, every artist represents a story, a dream and a journey worth supporting.
Saloni
Wadhwa
Her vision has always been to create a platform where artists can see their own aspirations reflected in the opportunities available to them.
Through her creative direction, curation and continuous engagement with artists, she has worked towards transforming ideas into real platforms for artistic expression.
With 15+ exhibitions curated and organized across the National Capital Region, Saloni has worked closely with artists from diverse backgrounds, helping them showcase their work, gain exposure and connect with audiences, collectors and art enthusiasts.
Her dream is to build a space where an artist's talent is not limited by geography, background or access.
When you support an artist, you do not only support a person — you support a dream, a culture and a piece of India's creative identity. The Akatva Belief
One Vision,
One Journey
Although their journeys with art are personal and distinct, Rishabh and Saloni share the same vision. A vision to support Indian artists. A vision to preserve India's artistic heritage. A vision to create opportunities for artisans and creative practitioners. And above all, a vision to take the richness of Indian art beyond boundaries.
Together, they have nurtured Akatva as a platform that seeks to bring artists, collectors, art lovers, corporates, interior designers, institutions and cultural communities closer together.
Our Journey
Since 2018, Akatva Arts Foundation has steadily grown from a passion-driven initiative into an evolving platform for Indian art and culture.
Through exhibitions, curated art shows, artist interactions, talks, lectures, seminars and cultural initiatives, Akatva has created opportunities for artists to present their work to a wider audience.
But our journey cannot be measured only in numbers. It is measured in the artist who received their first opportunity. In the artwork that found its first collector. In the artisan whose craft reached a new audience. In the young artist who gained confidence to continue creating.
These are the moments that define Akatva.
Heritage is not something we simply preserve.
India is a land where art and culture have lived together for thousands of years. Our paintings, sculptures, crafts, textiles, music, dance, theatre and countless traditional practices carry the memory of generations.
Yet culture survives only when it continues to evolve.
At Akatva, we believe that preserving heritage does not mean keeping it unchanged. It means giving tradition the opportunity to inspire contemporary creativity and future generations.
From traditional art and crafts to contemporary paintings, sculpture, photography and experimental practices, we celebrate the diversity that makes Indian creativity unique.

The dream behind Akatva is not simply to organize more exhibitions. It is to create something that lasts.
A platform where artists can find opportunity. A community where creativity is respected. A space where heritage is preserved. An institution where talent is nurtured.
Rishabh's passion for supporting artists and Saloni's determination to turn artistic dreams into visible opportunities come together in this journey.
Their shared belief continues to guide Akatva.
