About Artist
Remi Poddar is a self-taught contemporary artist from Noida who has been active in the art field since 2015. She has won many awards in her artistic journey and has also worked as a Senior Mentor at SRIJAN, in addition to serving as a jury member for various workshops and exhibitions. She has participated in numerous workshops, exhibitions, and art camps, and conducted a solo show titled “PEHCHAAN” in 2023 at India Habitat Centre (IHC). She has presented her artwork across various art platforms.
Remi Poddar’s artistic endeavors characterize a deep exploration of women- oriented themes. Through her paintings, she depicts the complexities, strengths, vulnerabilities, and empowerment of women. These themes are not only a reflection of her personal experiences and observations but also an exploration of societal narratives surrounding women.
Alongside her artistic practice, Remi Poddar is also the founder of RAMNIYATA ART FOUNDATION, an initiative dedicated to the betterment, support, and empowerment of artists by creating opportunities for growth, visibility, and sustainable artistic practice.
