Title: Where Time Rests, Size: 30 x 42
Thought behind the work:
Some objects seem to carry time within them. This painting captures that brief pause between presence and memory, when ordinary objects become beautiful because we stop long enough to notice them.
The flowers bring life and fragility, while the aged metal and textured wood speak of endurance. Together they create a moment where the old and the fleeting coexist.
A small reminder that beauty does not always announce itself. Sometimes, it simply waits in stillness.
About Artist
Veronika Zutshi
A childhood passion, picked up again.
Two decades of silence, then a brush returned to my hands and the hours began to rearrange themselves around it. The work that follows is patient, honest and full of emotions.
Art was something I loved deeply as a child, but like many people, life took me in different directions. For years, that part of me stayed quiet until one day when I picked up my brush again. What began as a return to an old love slowly became something much more meaningful.
My work is rooted in realism and I love capturing beauty in its most honest form. For me, painting is not just a hobby; it’s a part of who I am. Every piece I create carries a part of my story, my patience and my heart with a hope that it brings warmth, meaning and a sense of connection to the homes and hearts it reaches.
